During the visit, an ad hoc meeting was also held between AVC and Volleyball World.
Earlier on Thursday, Thailand Volleyball Association President Mr Somporn Chaibangyang led the FIVB and Volleyball World officials including Mr Luis Alexandre and Mr Guido Betti to meet with Tourism and Sports Minister Ms Sudawan Wangsuphakitkosol at the Office of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports to discuss the Thailand’s potential and its bid to host the 20th edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship in 2025. Mr Shanrit and Mr Kiattipong also joined the Thursday’s meeting.
