FIVB AND WORLD PARAVOLLEY SIGN LANDMARK MOU TO GROW VOLLEYBALL IN ALL ITS FORMS

Historic agreement aims to grow the sport globally and ensure it is accessible to all

The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and World ParaVolley (WPV) have signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote volleyball in all its forms and ensure it is more accessible and inclusive.

The MoU represents a key step in building greater collaboration between the two organisations. Together, the FIVB and WPV aim to increase participation, make the sport more accessible to all, and harness volleyball’s social value to empower individuals. Their joint efforts will focus on empowering individuals and communities by using the sport as a tool to build life skills, promote inclusion and inspire positive change.

The partnership will drive shared programmes and initiatives across national, regional and local levels. Both organisations will also seek opportunities to align events, integrate ParaVolley experiences at major competitions, and coordinate communication through digital platforms, campaigns and media channels.

The FIVB and WPV will also look to collaborate on social impact projects, knowledge exchange, and coach education initiatives to promote awareness of inclusion and ParaVolley disciplines.

The agreement also paves the way for closer alignment between the structures of both organisations, creating lasting synergies that will strengthen volleyball’s development worldwide.
