Sentul, Bogor, Indonesia, September 3, 2025 – The National Volleyball Federation of Indonesia (PBVSI) has successfully concluded the FIVB Beach Volleyball Coaches Course 2025, which took place from August 30 to September 3 at the FIVB Center of Excellence in Sentul, Bogor. The five-day program welcomed 17 participants from five countries – Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Brunei, and Indonesia.
The course was conducted by FIVB-certified instructor Mr Johann Huber of Austria, who delivered comprehensive training on modern beach volleyball coaching methodologies, athlete development strategies, and international best practices. The program combined classroom-based learning with extensive on-court sessions, ensuring participants gained both theoretical understanding and practical application.
In the closing ceremony, a representative of the participants expressed appreciation to the FIVB, PBVSI, and the instructor for delivering a world-class program. “We not only acquired valuable knowledge but also forged meaningful friendships and professional connections across borders. This experience will inspire us to elevate beach volleyball in our respective countries,” he remarked.
Speaking on behalf of PBVSI, Honorary Member Mr Bambang Suedi emphasized Indonesia’s pride in hosting the event: “We are honored to welcome coaches from Southeast Asia to our Center of Excellence. This program marks a significant step in strengthening the foundations of beach volleyball in the region and fostering collaboration among national federations.”
The FIVB Beach Volleyball Coaches Course 2025 in Sentul forms part of the FIVB’s global initiative to advance the sport through coach education and knowledge-sharing, ensuring athletes worldwide are guided by well-prepared and professional mentors.
The course concluded with a certificate presentation ceremony, symbolizing both the successful completion of the program and the participants’ commitment to furthering the development of beach volleyball in their home nations.
