Bangkok, Thailand, July 2, 2021 – The Level-2 FIVB Coaches Course is being held by the Lebanese Volleyball Federation between July 1 and 10 via video conference at Ghazir Sporting Club Stadium in Lebanon, with FIVB International Instructor Shihab al Din Ahmed al Riyami from Oman conducting the 10-day seminar.
A total of 33 coaches including 3 females have attended the course, which is aimed at technical and tactical aspects of coaching at the higher level apart from examining the educational aspects of coaching, planning, trends and current problems.
In his speech during the opening ceremony on July 1, LVF President Mr Waleed Kassouf expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to FIVB President Dr Ary Graca for his kind support to the LVF and simultaneously thanked Course Instructor Mr Shihab for his professional work and follow-up to the coaches in Lebanon from the beginning in 2018 when he conducted the Level-1 course in Lebanon. Finally, he wished all participants in this course a great success.
Shihab thanked the federation for the efforts they have made to organise the Level-2 course and make it a success.
By holding the course, LVF General Secretary Issam Abou Jaoudeh said, it will provide a unique opportunity for participants to improve their skills in order to help on development of the volleyball level in the country.
