Elections will take place at the FIVB World Congress in November
FIVB President
The FIVB confirms that, after the constitutional deadline of 15 July 2024, it has received one candidature for the position of FIVB President.
The candidature was received from Fabio Azevedo, FIVB General Director and Board of Administration member.
Mr Azevedo has passed the integrity check and his eligibility has been confirmed by the FIVB Advisory Electoral Committee. His candidature will now be submitted to the FIVB Congress for formal election during its meeting in Porto, Portugal from 15-17 November 2024 in accordance with the FIVB Constitution.
FIVB Board of Administration
The FIVB has closed the process of receiving candidatures for elected positions on the FIVB Board of Administration. The deadline was 15 May 2024.
The Confederations are currently holding their respective Congresses in order to select the candidates that will be submitted to the FIVB Congress in accordance with the FIVB Constitution. The FIVB will have all of the selected candidates at the end of August and will update the FIVB Congress website to provide information on each of the candidates once the selection process has been concluded.
