Bangkok, Thailand, May 19, 2025 – The FIVB Level 2 Coaches Course at the FIVB Development Center in Thailand concluded successfully on May 16, following five days of intensive theoretical and practical training conducted by FIVB Instructor Mr Bojan Mirkovic of Croatia and attended by 34 coaches including 23 men from 15 countries.
Designed to elevate coaching proficiency and foster international collaboration, the course aimed to support National Federations in establishing robust coaching development frameworks while promoting a standardized coaching methodology across member nations.

The closing ceremony and certificate presentation were held on May 16, presided over by Mr Somporn Chaibangyang, President of the Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA), and Mr Shanrit Wongprasert, Honorary Life Vice President of the Asian Volleyball Confederation and Honorary Life Secretary General of TVA.

Also in attendance were TVA Secretary General Mr Nattapong Kesapan, Mr Issara Riddhisinha, General Manager of the FIVB Development Center in Thailand, Course Instructor Mr Bojan Mirkovic, and representatives from Bangladesh, Croatia, Finland, India, Japan, Macao China, Maldives, Malaysia, Nepal, Russia, Singapore, Turkey, the Philippines, the United Arab Emirates, and host nation Thailand.

In his closing remarks, Mr Somporn expressed his appreciation to all parties involved in organizing the course and extended his gratitude to the participants for their dedication and determination.

“It is my great pleasure and honor to preside over the certificate presentation and closing ceremony of the FIVB Level 2 Coaches Course at the FIVB Development Center in Thailand. After five days of dedicated learning under the guidance of FIVB Instructor Mr Bojan Mirkovic, I am confident that all participants will benefit greatly from this experience and will contribute meaningfully to the sustainable development and promotion of volleyball, not only in your home countries but globally,” he stated.
He also commended the staff of the Sports Office at Ramkhamhaeng University and the FIVB Development Center for their excellent organization and hospitality, adding, “I look forward to welcoming you back to Thailand, whether for future collaboration or participation in the FIVB Level 3 Coaches Course.”
Following his remarks, Mr Somporn presented certificates to all course participants, with Mr Mirkovic joining them in celebrating the successful completion of the program.
