Tashkent, Uzbekistan, June 10, 2024 – In a thrilling conclusion to the CAVA U18 Volleyball Championships, unbeaten Iranian girls’ team emerged victorious against Kazakhstan in a nail-biting final rematch, securing their position as the champions, while, Pakistan’s boys’ team triumphed over the previously unbeaten Iran in an intense showdown.
The championships also served the qualification for the Asian Men’s U18 Volleyball Championship, with both Pakistan and Kazakhstan’s teams earned their spots in this prestigious event by eliminating the host team, Uzbekistan.
The closing and awarding ceremony took place at Jar Hall, the competition site where both halls are located.
During the ceremony, local referees and scorers were honored for their contributions throughout the event and a certificate of attendance in a one-week course were awarded to them.
In addition to the thrilling final matches, dream teams of CAVA were also announced, showcasing the top players of the tournament.
