Bangkok, Thailand, June 21, 2021 – The Palestinian Volleyball Federation linked up online with FIVB to host a Level-1 Volleyball Coaches Course from June 17 to 26, 2021.
FIVB Instructor Mr Sherif El -Shemerly has conducted the course, participated by Dr. Ahmed hamarshah and Ismail AL-Najar, PVF international referee. PVF General Secretary Mr. Raed Tarek Salahat also joined the course as Course coordinator.
The course via Zoom meeting has attracted about 20 males and 2 females from three countries to participate consisting of Egypt, Jordan and Palestine. Furthermore, it will be for the first time that camera live has been used to provide practical exams from the participants’ place.
The course is being held not only to instruct the basic volleyball techniques, but also to improve the knowledge and competence of coaches and teachers so that they may gain recognition as FIVB coaches soon.
Moreover, the 10-day course is also aimed at presenting the most recent trends of the modern game of volleyball and exchanging ideas and experiences among participants.
