Two New Zealand pairs grabbed podium places in the latest FIVB Futures event in Turkey on Monday.
Continuing their preparations for the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham later this year, Sam O’Dea and Brad Fuller took the silver medal after a 21-17, 21-18 defeat by the Serbian pair of Lazar Kolaric and Djordje Klasnic.
Fellow Beach Blacks Alani Nicklin and Tom Hartles claimed bronze while Ben O’Dea and Tom Reid finished fourth after pushing the gold medal winners to three sets in their semi-final.
On the women’s side of the draw, Kiwis Olivia MacDonald and Jasmine Milton finished in 17th place.
