Bangkok, Thailand, November 27, 2020 – Defending champions Police continued their remarkable run in the Qatar Senior Men`s Volleyball League at the QVA Hall, volleyball.qa said in its news release on Thursday.
Police on Wednesday pulled off a blistering 3-0 (25-20 25-19 25-23) win over Al Shamal in the sixth round of the competition. With this victory, the Police side raised the total scores to 18 points, expanding the gap with their closest opponents Qatar to 4 points. Al Shamal remained on the bottom of the standing with one point.
Meanwhile, Al-Khor made their mark after capturing a sensation 3-0 (25-15 25-13 25-20) victory over Al-Sadd.
Al-Khor raised their combined scores to 10 points to stay in fifth place, while Al-Sadd remained in the ninth position with 3 points.
Two more matches in the Senior Men`s League are scheduled to be contested on Friday, with Al-Gharafa taking on Al-Wakrah at 4pm local time, and Al-Ahli playing Al-Rayyan in the second match at 6:30pm.
