Global Volleyball Movement unites as Thailand ParaVolley senior teams feature at Volleyball Experience
Thailand men’s and women’s sitting volleyball teams at the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship 2025 took part in the Volleyball Experience on Tuesday, joining the celebrations as the Global Volleyball Movement comes together in Bangkok.
The Volleyball Experience is staged at the Sports Authority of Thailand next to the Huamark Indoor Stadium, and features a range of interactive volleyball installations. Among them is a dedicated sitting volleyball court, where Thailand ParaVolley coaches are providing guidance on the sport, and supporting fans in getting involved .
“To have sitting volleyball at the Volleyball Experience creates a sense of equality,” said assistant coach Sri-iam Sakkarat. “It’s not only non disabled athletes and fans who can come to this event. Para athletes and fans can also come. I feel very happy that there is an area for para athletes and fans to showcase their abilities.”

Both squads have earned podium finishes at the ASEAN Para Games, showing consistent progress.
The players also attended the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship match between Thailand and the Netherlands at Huamark Indoor Stadium, lending their support as the home side continued its campaign.
