The Polish city will host the decisive phase of the sixth edition of the tournament

The Volleyball Nations League Finals are set to return to Poland in 2024 as the city of Łódź has been selected to host the decisive phase of the sixth edition of the tournament from June 27-30.
The European nation hosted the VNL Finals in 2023, when the home team triumphed in front of thousands of fans in Gdańsk, and will become the third country to host the final phase of the event in back-to-back seasons, joining China, which staged the decisive rounds for the women in 2018 and 2019, and Italy, which welcomed the men’s Finals in 2021 and 2022.

Built in 2009, the 13,000-seat Atlas Arena will host the elimination rounds of the VNL 2024 over four days in June. The venue has a long tradition of welcoming elite-level international volleyball events, having also opened its doors to the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship, the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship, this year’s Women’s Volleyball Olympic Qualifying Tournament, the 2017 FIVB Men’s Club World Championship, the VNL 2018 and multiple editions of the FIVB World League and the FIVB World Grand Prix.
The selection of Łódź as the host city of the Finals puts Poland in a strong position to defend their 2023 VNL title as the Europeans will not only have a spot guaranteed in the decisive phase of the tournament, but will also play in front of their passionate home fans.
Besides the Polish, will compete in the VNL 2024 Finals the seven best national teams in the Preliminary Phase, which will played from May 21-June 23 across six countries – Brazil, Türkiye, Canada, Japan, the Philippines and Slovenia.
The 16 men’s national teams set to compete in the VNL 2024 are Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Cuba, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Türkiye and the United States.
The VNL Finals will be held in a single elimination format, starting with the quarterfinals and ending with the medal matches.
