China took the set 25-15.
The Indonesians tried to make amends for the first-set loss. Leading 20-17, China allowed the rivals two more points to win the set 25-19.
China shuffled their line-up a lot in the third set, but still gained the upper hand. With the winds in their sails, China were unstoppable as they produced big spikes to win the comfortable set 25-12 and match.

After the match, China head coach Bao Zhuang said, “The main focus in this tournament was set on the young players in our team. We wanted them to train more to strengthen their basic skills and gain more experience overall. Therefore we adapted our strategies according to that. We are aiming for the semi-finals, and if we are lucky enough, we are going to try our best to win the Championship.”
China team setter Diao Linyu said, “My priority was to focus on cooperating with my blocking partner and since I am a setter, I thought it was important to instruct and place my teammates where they belong. Since we all trained together as a team, I think all of us were in great condition. In this tournament, I think the captain played a big role and helped us a lot despite some obstacles. We worked well as a team.”
