VNL action heating up as competition enters final two weeks
FIVB President Dr Ary S. Graça F° has joined the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) 2021 bubble in Rimini, Italy as the world’s top national teams prepare to enter the final two weeks of the flagship competition.
The FIVB President was permitted to enter the VNL bubble after undergoing a mandatory 72-hour isolation period and strict testing regime.
FIVB President Dr Ary S. Graça F said:
“I am very excited to be joining the VNL 2021 bubble. For teams from all four corners of the globe to be here in Rimini and play in a safe environment is testament to the efforts of the FIVB, Volleyball World and the event organisers RCS Sports and Events to implement effective health and sanitary protocols.”
“The level of competition and sporting excellence is always elite at this competition, and it is clear that teams are holding nothing back in pursuit of the coveted title of VNL champions. I look forward to seeing how the competition will unfold over the next few weeks, and wish all teams the very best of luck!”
The VNL 2021 is being held from 25 May to 25 June for the women’s edition and 28 May to 27 June for the men’s edition. 32 of the world’s strongest national teams are currently battling it out to be crowned VNL champions.
