Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, September 30, 2021 – AVC has confirmed a total of seven accompanying referees who will officiate at the 2021 Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship, which will be held at Terminal 21 Hall from October 1 to 7, 2021.
The announcement has been made earlier by the AVC Referees Committee, chaired by Mr Songsak Chareonpong. These referees arrived in the host city ahead of the competition days and on Thursday underwent the referee clinic theoretically and practically.
The clinic ended on a high note and Songsak, himself the Referee Delegate, has expressed his satisfaction over their capabilities and excellence they have shown during the clinic.
“The Referee Clinic, which is split into theoretical and practical sessions, has come to a successful close. The video challenge system will be used in this tournament and the preparation task works pretty well. However, some adjustments are necessarily required after the clinic. The referees will try their best in this event especially in this tough situation with COVID-19. I think they are fully prepared for duty,” Songsak said.
