Bangkok, Thailand, October 10, 2020 – Al Arabi registered their second successive win over Al Rayyan in the second leg of the Qatar Cup semi-finals at the Qatar Volleyball Association Hall on Friday, QVA reported in a news release on volleyball.qa.
Following two wins in a row, Al Arabi, which on Friday captured a comfortable straight-set win over Al Rayyan, the team they had beaten 3-2 in their first clash on Wednesday night, secured a berth in the final.
The second semi-final match between Al Ahli and Police saw the former breeze past the latter 3-0 in the first leg earlier. If Al Ahli were due to repeat the similar feat, they would go up against Al Arabi in the final, but in case of a tie, both teams will again play on Sunday, October 11.
The final showdown of the Qatar Cup will be played on October 14. All the matches are supervised by accredited international referees.
