IRAN VOLLEYBALL SUPER LEAGUE POSTPONED FOR TWO WEEKS

Tehran, Iran, October 10, 2020 – The Iran Volleyball Super League has been postponed due to third wave of COVID-19 pandemic, iranvolleyball.com reported on Saturday.

The new season started on September 9 and Foolad Sirjan stay atop the table at the end of Matchday 7.

The resumption of the Iran’s top-flight competition will be announced later by the organisers.

The daily death toll from coronavirus infection in Iran has exceeded 200 in recent days, while the total number of cases since the outbreak of the disease in the country has surpassed 490,000.

More than 28,000 COVID-19 patients have died in Iran since February.
