Al Rayyan emerged as the Qatar Men’s Volleyball League champions for the 2021-2022 season after topping the table with 49 points, four points ahead of the runners-up Police SC (45).
In an exciting final league match on Monday, Police SC beat Al Rayyan 3-2 but let the eventual victory slip through their fingers as Al Rayyan were much ahead in the overall tally to be crowned the deserving overall winners.
Ali bin Ghanem Al Kuwari, President of Qatar and West Asia Volleyball Associations, presided over the awards presentation and closing ceremony at the QVA Hall. Also in attendance were Ali bin Salem Afifah, Vice President of Al Rayyan Sports Club, and Mohammad Al Abdullah, Head of VolleyballTeam Al Wakra Sports Club, and QVA Board Member Mohammed Salem Al Kuwari, Ibrahim Al Namaa, Saeed Al hitmi.
