Al-Shamal Club were crowned champions of the third Open U21 Beach Volleyball Championship, while Al-Arabi came second and Al-Sadd third after completion of action-packed encounters at the Al-Gharafa Beach Club Courts.
Mr Mohammed Salem Al-Kuwari, Member of the Qatar Volleyball Association Board of Directors, presented the eventual winners Al-Shamal Club with the Championship Cup and gold medals. Al-Arabi clinched silver medals, with Qatar content with bronze medals.
Mr Mohammad Anbar Al-Nasser, Member of the Beach Volleyball Committee, and Ahmed Tijan, one of the national beach volleyball players who partners Cherif Younousse to be the world ranking leaders, also attended the awards presentation, joined by QVA Technical Expert Hussein Imam.
