Members have been appointed to seven Permanent Committees following the 1st Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Executive Committee Meeting on Zoom on February 7, 2022.
CAVA President Mr Mohamed Latheef from Maldives presided over the Monday’s Meeting, with Executive Committee Members comprising CAVA Vice President Dr Mohammad Reza Davarzani from Iran, Member Mr Yemek Syrlybayev from Kazakhstan, CAVA Treasurer Mr Jitendra Bahadur Chand from Nepal and CAVA Secretary General Mr Kylych Sarbaghyshev from Kyrgyzstan in attendance.
In his opening remark, Mr Latheef said that CAVA celebrated another milestone in its history on Monday by formulating all statutory bodies under CAVA Statutes.
Also, he mentioned that all members nominated from the National Federations and CAVA are highly qualified and have vast experience in their field. Consequently, he has no doubt that the performance of Permanent Committees will be incredibly high.
The CAVA President was very confident that Executive Committee Members would render their fullest support and assistance to all Permanent Committees. “Let’s give them the full independence and authority in carrying out their responsibilities as per CAVA Statutes and General Regulations,” Mr Latheef was quoted as saying in the meeting.
During the meeting, Dr Davarzani stressed that to make CAVA stronger, all federations should work harder but together for the betterment of the Association as one strong team.
The CAVA Treasurer, Mr Jitendra assured his time and commitment to develop zonal volleyball, while CAVA Secretary General Mr Kylych and Executive Committee Member Mr Yemek committed their fullest support for CAVA activities.
All the Executive Committee Members applauded CAVA President Mr Latheef for his commitment and time invested in the betterment of CAVA and his leadership for strengthening unity among the National Federations.
Mr Latheef thanked all the members for their unity, solidarity and support.
