Seven of 22 Olympic Solidarity Technical Courses for Coaches have been conducted in three different continents
The FIVB is collaborating with Olympic Solidarity to offer short-term training courses at a variety of levels for volleyball coaches all over the world in various languages. Between March and May, as many as seven Olympic Solidarity Technical Courses for Coaches were conducted in various countries across three Continental Confederations.
Iran, Mozambique, Palau and Micronesia hosted Level I volleyball courses, Bhutan and Congo hosted Level II volleyball courses, while Estonia organised a beach volleyball course. Each of these was a practical five-day course, available in English, French or Spanish. In total, 120 participants, with approximately a third of them being female coaches, benefitted from these seven courses.
The first course (pictured in the main photo) was delivered in early March in the Iranian capital Tehran.

The course in Mozambique from 6 to 10 March, was conducted in the capital Maputo.

There was a third course held in the Oceania island of Palau that welcomed 18 participants in March.

The first of three the African continent courses organised in May was held in Congo’s capital Brazzaville.

In between, from 4 to 8 May, in Tallinn, Estonia, an FIVB Coaches Course in beach volleyball took place under the instruction of Athens 2004 Olympic silver medallist and three-time Olympian Javier Bosma of Spain.
