SHANDONG, TIANJIN, SHANGHAI CLAIM THIRD WINS IN CHINESE MEN’S SUPER LEAGUE

Wuyuan, China, November 1, 2022 – Shandong, Tianjin and Shanghai all claimed their third victories here on Tuesday in the 2022-23 Chinese Men’s Volleyball Super League.

Li Lei scored 16 points and Zhai Dejun added 15 as Shandong swept Huangshi 25-16, 25-17 and 25-22. Shandong reaped a total of 12 points from blocking and serving, compared to only one for Huangshi.

Lin Haikun notched a game-high 17 points, but he was the only Huangshi player scoring double digits.

Later on Tuesday, Tianjin beat Yunnan 25-16, 25-18, 25-19. Yuan Dangyi made 13 kills in 17 attempts to lead Tianjin with 15 points, with Zhang Xinyu and Danilo Pavlovic from Serbia adding 13 and 10 respectively.

In Tuesday’s other action, Shanghai improved to 3-0 in win-loss record after defeating Nanjing 25-23, 25-15 and 25-17.
