Jakarta, Indonesia, December 3, 2022 – The Singapore women’s national team have been undergoing an intensive training camp at Indonesia Volleyball Development Center in Sentul, Bogor, Indonesia between December 1-5.
During the training camp, they will compete against four different teams including the 2022 Proliga champions Bandung BJB Tandamata on Friday, December 2.
Their next match was expected to be against Jakarta Popsivo Polwan on Saturday, December 3.
“A game like this is important for us because we don’t have a match-training opponent,” Singapore head coach Suntorn Phoseeta from Thailand said.
He admitted that his players are not professional as they still go to school and do some work. “In one week, we trained only three times. However, we are still excited to compete against the other teams. We look forward to making our presence felt at the 2023 SEA Games,” he said..
