The FIVB is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated launch of the FIVB Volleyball Foundation, scheduled to take place on 30 May 2024. This landmark evening will feature an unmissable auction designed to raise money for groundbreaking projects serving local communities.
The Volleyball Foundation will connect with, serve and inspire communities around the world, using the global reach and power of volleyball to have a positive impact. The launch event for this groundbreaking initiative promises to be a pivotal moment for volleyball communities and stakeholders around the world.
The event will bring together esteemed guests from the global Volleyball Family, the Olympic Movement and beyond, including government officials, athletes and advocates for social development. Their presence demonstrates the importance of the Volleyball Foundation’s commitment to channelling its resources, knowledge and global reach for the well-being of communities through volleyball.
One of the highlights of the evening will be a special charity auction featuring unique volleyball memorabilia generously donated by legends of the game, including Olympic and World champions.
