200 KIDS JOIN MINI-VOLLEYBALL FESTIVAL IN PALESTINE

Bethlehem Club, under the supervision of the Palestinian Volleyball Federation,  hosted the Mini-Volleyball Festival at Al-Khader International Stadium in Palestine on July 16, with around 200 kids joining the physical fitness and fun activities.

President of the Islamic Club of Bethlehem Mr Ahmed Hassan presided over the one-day activity, attended by mini-volleyball coordinator in the south, Mr Muhannad Saad, and Mr Rami Abu Ahour on behalf of the southern clubs.

The festival included reading the Holy Quran, and moment of silence for the Palestinian national peace in addition to a singing paragraph, which increased a fun-filled atmosphere to all participants in the festival. In the context of this, this festival has been taking place inside the country on an ongoing basis, and its main objective is to encourage children to play volleyball, create an atmosphere of fun and joy with music, and raise the level of participants in the future.

The festival was held with the participation of several institutions, starting with the Freedom Camp, in addition to the Medical Relief Fund. The Diyar team also participated in arbitration during the festival.

At the end of the festival, Rani Asfour, the founder of mini-volleyball in Palestine, thanked the Islamic Club of Bethlehem and the organizers of this activity.

The festival ended with the distribution of medals to the participants in an atmosphere of fun.
