Bangkok, Thailand, March 2, 2022 – The Volleyball Federation Management Course, organised by Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) with support from AVC, started on Wednesday at Urgench State University in Urgench City, Uzbekistan.

The AVC-recognized course is being held from March 2 to 5, with AVC Executive Director Mr Shanrit Wongprasert from Thailand, regarded as one of the most experienced instructors within Asia region who held three major positions during his heyday career consisting of former FIVB Board of Administration Member, AVC Secretary General and AVC Sports Events Council Chairman, conducting the management course theoretically and practically.
As the four-day course comes to a fruitful conclusion, each participant will receive an achievement certificate from the Asia’s governing body.
A total of 17 participants from seven countries comprising Tajikistan (2), Kyrgyzstan (1), Pakistan (1), Kazakistan (1), Maldives (1), Bangladesh (1), Uzbekistan (10) have been attending the management course, hosted by Uzbekistan Volleyball Federation.
This Management Course is a series of events that will take place, after CAVA President Mr Mohamed Latheef from Maldives pledged, during the Annual General Meeting in Bangladesh last December, that he will focus on developing and strengthening the governance of National Federations affiliated with Central Asian Volleyball Association.
In this occasion, CAVA highly appreciates the swift commitment from AVC President Mrs Rita Subowo in facilitating and conducting this course.
At the end of this management course, all participants are expected to be fully aware of FIVB and AVC regulations and thus improve the management of National Federations as well as Volleyball and Beach Volleyball events management.
