After five days of theoretical and practical sessions, the FIVB Coaches Course Beach Volleyball at the FIVB Development Center Thailand came to a successful close on Friday, with 16 participants proudly presented with certificates.
FIVB Course Instructor Mr David Smith and Mr Issara Riddhisinha, General Manager of the FIVB Development Center in Thailand, jointly presided over the certificate presentation and closing ceremony on Friday. Also in attendance was AVC Development Coordinator Ms Mingkwan Pusiddusid and all 16 candidates attending the five-day course.
The course was held between July 17 and 21, 2023, aimed for strengthening training methods for beach volleyball, enhancing workshop on beach volleyball drills aside from updating interesting trends of the sport.
During the course, the 16 participants from four National Federations consisting of Hong Kong China, Macau China, United States of America and Thailand had learned some beach volleyball tips to help achieve great things in their future career.
The five-day course ended on high note on Friday, with all participants satisfactorily surpassing the requirements and gathering to celebrate their achievements in the certificate presentation.
Mr David Smith praised the efforts of all course participants and expressed his sincere congratulations on everyone’s success in the course, hoping that all participants will bring back knowledge to help support their teams.
“From the very beginning of the course, all participants were strangers to each other, but not it’s the last day of the course, all of you become friends. In my point of view, all of you had a great success. You have gained knowledge from this course. So, it’s necessary that you apply knowledge and skills gained from the course to benefit others and particularly your teams. I’m upbeat that after this, this course will help increase the importance of your beach volleyball coach role. I wish all of you a great success in your career and a safe trip back home,” Mr Smith said his speech to all participants during the closing ceremony.
