Beijing, China, April 3, 2019 – FIVB President Dr. Ary S. Graça F° met with the FIVB’s newest global sponsor, Ganten in Beijing last week. China’s leading mineral water firm signed a four-year partnership deal with the FIVB last year, as the growing popularity of volleyball in the country and around the world continues to attract global sponsors.
The FIVB President spent time with Ganten Vice-President Mrs. Li Xue, discussing the partnership so far and future collaborative opportunities.
Ganten will be onsite at all matches worldwide during the VNL and the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship, through to the 2022 editions. Ganten will also supply an innovative athletes’ bench, specifically designed for the VNL.
The agreement also includes digital activation of the FIVB’s events, as well as dedicated television and marketing campaigns focused on volleyball. This will be shown on Chinese broadcaster CCTV-5, China Central Television’s dedicated sports channel.
Following the meeting, FIVB President Dr. Ary S. Graça F° said:
“It was a pleasure to sit down with our global sponsor, Ganten, and discuss further opportunities for our two organisations in engaging a growing volleyball audience worldwide. Starting from this season Ganten will supply water to all VNL matches as well as the athletes’ benches, produced specifically for the event.
“We are proud to be partners with Ganten as they share our family values of inclusivity and respect, whilst promoting a healthy lifestyle. Of course, having such strong companies joining the volleyball family is a clear indication of the FIVB’s commercial success in China and across the world.”
