Bangkok, Thailand, May 14, 2022 – In line with Volleyball Your Way movement, created by FIVB to celebrate volleyball in all its shapes and forms regardless of how it is played, a mini volleyball festival was held recently in Palestine with aims of highlighting the inclusivity and universality of volleyball and promoting the sport as a fun, entertaining sport for all.
The festival attracted 100 male and female students under the age of 11 to participate under the supervision of the Palestine Volleyball Federation and in cooperation with Al-Mukhtar Model Kindergarten and School represented by its director, Ms Samar Samir and Ms Hanadi Raslan.
The festival activities began with a review of the participating students, then with the national peace, a fragrant reading of the Holy Qur’an, and the presentation of the scouts of the Abnaa Lod Association, led by Commander Ali Hamida, and the physical education teacher mentioned that mini volleyball in Palestine is important in spreading the game.
The festival included some small games, as well as rhythmic sports dances for the participating students.
The sports games were organized and judged by the distinguished physical education teacher, Safa Al-Khalidi.
At the end of the festival, the school administration thanked the founder of mini volleyball in Palestine for holding this festival, and that this activity is a distinct part in introducing students to this game.
