POLAND AND BULGARIA TO HOST POOLS OF THE VOLLEYBALL NATIONS LEAGUE 2022

Bulgaria women’s national team joins VNL 2022 line

The FIVB and Volleyball World have announced that Gdansk, Poland will host the week three pool of the men’s event from 5-10 July, while Sofia, Bulgaria will host the women’s pool from 28 June to 3 July following the relocation of the Volleyball Nations League 2022 pools scheduled to take place in Russia.

The city of Gdansk in Poland is set to co-host the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship with the Netherlands later this year. Meanwhile, the city of Sofia in Bulgaria will also host the week two pool of the men’s VNL 2022.

Additionally, as the Russia men’s and women’s national teams are not allowed to participate in international and continental events until further notice, the Bulgarian women’s national volleyball team will compete in the VNL 2022 . The replacement national team for the men’s VNL 2022 will be announced at a later stage.
