Tehran, Iran, November 30, 2020 – In-form Sepahan Foulad performed superbly to beat Tehran Saipa in thrilling four-setter to move to the top of the Iran Men’s Super League standings, iranvolleyball.com reported on Saturday.
Contesting one of the most thrilling encounters in week 13, Sepahan Foulad played a tough match against Saipa to pull off a 3-1 (25-21, 25-23, 22-25, 25-18) victory.
Mohammadirad, who was at the helm of eventual winners Varamin Shahrdari at the 2019 Asian Men’s Club Championship in Chinese Taipei, is the coach behind this success of Sepahan Foulad as he led his side to the top of the ranking table in week 13.
Kordestan Rahyab Melal also made their mark in week 13 as they struggled to beat Urmia Azarbatri 3-1 (25-21 20-25 30-28 25-23) to jump two steps higher to stay in 12th position.

The final standings of week 13 saw Sepahan Foulad stay atop the overall standing, while Sirjan Foulad and Urmia Shahrdari finished second and third places respectively. Sirjan Foulad and Urmia Shahrdari rested in week 13.
