Bangkok, Thailand, November 21, 2020 – Shandong beat Zhejiang 3-1 (25-18, 25-13, 23-25, 25-11) while Beijing defeated struggling Sichuan 3-1 (21-25, 25-14, 25-18, 25-20) in the Chinese Women’s Volleyball League in Jiangmen, xinhuanet.com reported on Friday.

After taking a short lead in the first two sets, Shandong lost their momentum as spiker Jiang Yuxiao scored a set-high nine points to pull one set back for Zhejiang. Thanks to Du Qingqing’s successful spikes, Shandong smash Zhejiang 25-11 in the last set.

Meanwhile, Sichuan took an early lead in the first set, but their bad services offered Beijing chances to gain the upper hand in the next three sets.

Beijing’s spiker Ren Kaiyi had a game-high 21 points, while Che Wenhan contributed 15 points for Sichuan.

In other matches, Shanghai smashed Hebei 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-7), Liaoning overcame Henan 3-0 (25-14, 25-13, 25-17), Jiangsu defeated Yunnan 3-0 (25-16, 25-12, 25-9), and Guangdong powered past Fujian 3-0 (25-22, 25-18, 25-21).
