SHANGHAI CONTINUE WINNING STREAK IN 2021-22 CHINESE WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE

Jiangmen, China, November 30, 2021 – Shanghai continued their unbeaten record in the 2021-22 season Chinese Women’s Volleyball League, as they claimed the third consecutive victory after dominating Fujian 3-1 on Tuesday.

Shanghai opened Tuesday’s game with a 25-15 in the first set, but lost the second 23-25.

In the following two sets, Shanghai held off the pressure and secured the win 25-20 and 25-19.

Shanghai’s star spiker Kim Yeon-koung pocketed a game-high 25 points, while Fujian’s Zhuang Yushan and Zheng Yixin provided 16 and 15 respectively.

Also on Tuesday, Wu Han’s 21 points led Jiangsu to sweep Henan 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-10), while Liaoning also eased past Beijing 3-0 (25-12, 25-21, 25-18).
