Bangkok, Thailand, October 12, 2020 – Al-Ahli produced a fantastic comeback 3-1 (20-25, 25-21, 26-24, 25-21) win over Police to set up the final showdown with Al-Arabi in the Qatar Volleyball Cup for the 2019-2020 season, Qatar Volleyball Association reported on volleyball.qa on Monday.
It was the Al-Ahli’s stunning win over Police, fresh from winning the General League Championship, in the decisive match of the semi-finals on Sunday at the QVA Hall.
On the Wednesday’s final clash, Al-Ahli will go up against Al-Arabi, qualified after beating Al-Rayyan in the two-leg matches with the similar 3-0 result.
The Qatar Cup matches are taking place this season amidst strict precautionary and health measures by the Qatar Volleyball Association to protect everyone from COVID-19.
