The third set saw Bohai Bank Tianjin establish a large-margin lead of 18-8. Hong Kong International Volleyball Club improved offensive skills and pulled together to earn several points before Yang Yi leashed terrific service to end the set 25-13 and the match 3-0.

“We’ve been trying to perform as good as we could at the first match. I hope to do better and better in the following days and we‘ll do our utmost to fulfill every single match.” said Wang Yizhu, wing spiker of Bohai Bank Tianjin.

The head coach of Hong Kong International Volleyball Club Wing Sang Kwan congratulated the hosts. “In fact, we lost the game mainly due to the lack of international competition experience and most of the players are amateur. At least we’ve learned a lot from it and I am pleased that we did release some excellent fight-backs in the final set”.
