The FIVB President Dr. Ary Da Silva Graca Falho has awarded official FIVB Zonal Association recognition to Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) and South East Asia Volleyball Association (SEAVA).
Dr. Ary Graca announced the FIVB official Zonal Association recognition during the FIVB Delegation Meeting with National Federation Presidents, which was held in Grand Hyatt Hotel Taguig City, Manila, Philippines on June 23, 2022.
Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) represents 14 National Federations, while South East Asia Volleyball Association (SEAVA) represents 11 National Federations.
AVC President Dr. Rita Subowo, CAVA President Mr Mohamed Latheef and SEAVA President Mr. Somporn Chaibangyang, who is also Thailand Volleyball Association President, was present in the FIVB Delegation Meeting with National Federation Presidents when the announcement was made.
Both CAVA and SEAVA are AVC Zonal Volleyball Associations.
