FIVB EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE PLAN AHEAD OF BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION MEETING

Lausanne, Switzerland, May 23, 2019 – The FIVB Executive Committee met yesterday, to review the proposals and reports that will be presented at  today’s Board of Administration meeting.

The meeting started with the official inauguration of the new FIVB Board Room and its facilities, that perfectly fit the innovative level of the International Volleyball Federation.

The FIVB Executive Committee reviewed the agenda for the Board of Administration meeting, particularly focusing on the latest Financial and Business reports, as well as any legal matters to provide the necessary recommendations to the Board of Administration.

During the meeting, FIVB President Ary Graça said: “We are very pleased to welcome everyone to our brand-new modern board room. At the FIVB, we are continuously growing and have more professionals joining us at the FIVB HQs. This will ensure that all our events and sports presentations are delivered at the highest level with the newest technology. We all work hard together to deliver a world class experience to our athletes and fans, and we look forward to more decisions being made over the next few days.”

The FIVB Financial and Business reports, the Commissions’ proposals and changes to the FIVB regulations were all recommended by the Executive Committee to be approved by the Board of Administration, before they meet on May 23-24 in Lausanne.
