Following the highly successful previous two gatherings in March and May, the third Zonal Association Presidents’ Seminar was hosted by the FIVB this week to share the latest innovations and developments within the FIVB and listen to updates from the Zones on their activities and future plans.

In addition, the Zonal Association Presidents received updates on the Volleyball Calendar 2025-2028, FIVB Referee Courses, decisions taken during the latest FIVB Board of Administration, Volleyball World, the pioneering FIVB Foundation initiative, and various other topics.

The seminar was also attended by the Presidents of the Continental Confederations and members of the FIVB Development and Volleyball Empowerment Commissions.

Opening the meeting, FIVB President Dr Ary S. Graça F° said:

“As I emphasised in our previous meetings, we trust you to be our representatives in your respective Zones. We want you to be empowered to organise transformative Zonal activities that help to ensure more opportunities for the National Federations in your Zones. But more than this, we want you to feel excited by all the positive new initiatives and activities within the FIVB, and to share this information on a regular basis with your National Federations. We can achieve great results for our sport all over the world by working together as a team.”

The next Zonal Association President’s Seminar will be scheduled for the end of the year, after the Road to Paris Volleyball Qualifiers and Beach Volleyball World Championships.
