TEAMS LOOK FORWARD WITH ANTICIPATION IN VOLLEYBALL NATIONS LEAGUE NINGBO BEILUN STATION

Ningbo, China, June 17, 2019 – A pre-competition press conference was held here on Monday at the Hotel Radisson Ningbo Beilun with the attendance of head coaches and captains of teams from Bulgaria, Serbia, Germany and hosts China to share their expectations for upcoming 2019 FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League Ningbo Beilun Station, which will be staged from June 18 to 20 in Beilun Sports and Arts Center here.

Bulgaria head coach Ivan Petkov: “We are very happy to be here. And everything here is perfect. Also we will try our best to play our games.”

Germany head coach Felix Koslowski: “We are very satisfied to be here. I would like to thank the organizers and China Volleyball Association. It is special for us this year as we will come back again to this place in August for the Olympic Qualification. So we have a good chance to get used to everything now. I think it is not an easy week for us as we spent a lot of energy throughout the long season. The opening match for us is with China. It will be a very difficult match. And the second match is with Serbia and then Bulgaria. They already showed us that they can perform great. Anyway, we are looking forward to the upcoming challenges.”

Serbia head coach Kranko Ovacevic: “First of all, I would like to thank the organizer for providing such good conditions. I hope our young players of the team can continue to play good volleyball and learn more experience. And if there is some possibility, they can win some games.”

China head coach Lang Ping: “Also I would like to thank Beilun Organizer for providing us such perfect conditions. This week is the fifth week of the VNL. Our goal remain the same. No matter who is our opponent, we will try our best to improve our combination and accumulate more experience so as to make better preparation for next tournaments.”
