Volleyball Australia has recently announced that they will be hosting a Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Futures event at Coolangatta, Queensland to be held 30 March -3 April 2022.
The Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour is the annual international Beach Volleyball circuit featuring the best athletes in the world, taking over from the FIVB World Tour of years past. The Beach Pro Tour has three levels of events, Elite16, Challenge, Futures.
The tour will travel across the globe, showcasing the best of beach volleyball action and events that are engaging, vibrant and connect with fans.
The Beach Pro Tour Futures event will be the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic that international teams will have the opportunity to travel to Australia to compete at our world class beach volleyball venues.
The late addition to the international Tour calendar is exciting news for Australian beach volleyball teams, however Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for Australian teams are required to be submitted soon.

Dates: Arrive Monday 28 March (before 7pm) – Depart Sunday 3 April (after finals)
VA will provide accommodation and transport should you require it and you will receive a payment of $900 for the event.
Required Minimum Accreditation: FIVB
Referees (6):
Dates: Arrive Tuesday 29 March (before 12pm) – Depart Sunday 3 April (after finals)
VA will provide accommodation and transport should you require it and you will receive a payment of $750 for the event.
Required Minimum Accreditation: VA Level 3 Beach Volleyball Referee
Auxiliary Officials – Scorer (5) / Line Judges (5):
